Abstract:

In the process of long-term association, communication and integration, Chinese ethnic groups have formed the Chinese national community and the awareness of the Chinese national community. “Pluralistic integration” is the basic pattern of Chinese national community, and "Four being together" is the basic ideology of Chinese national community consciousness. Chinese culture is a diversified and integrated culture with thousands of years of history and tradition, characterized by its vastness and profundity. This paper is based on the spirit of Xi Jinping's speech at the symposium on culture inheritance and development as well as the theoretical framework of pluralistic integration pattern of the Chinese nation, elucidating the unique pluralistic integration structure of ancient Chinese design culture. Meanwhile, from the standpoint of design culture, this paper elaborates the developmental history and ideology, as well as the artistic and technical characteristics of pluralistic integration of the Chinese nation.
