疗愈环境的气味设计：医院芳香疗法的定性研究

Design for the Healing Environment: A Qualitative Study on Aromatherapy in Hospitals

近年来，芳香疗法已成为临床环境中在患者间广为流行的辅助治疗方法。然而，探索患者和工作人员在医院环境中使用芳香疗法的需求和接受程度的定性研究较为有限。本研究采用定性研究方法，通过半结构访谈，对16名医护人员、5名患者、3名家属进行深度访谈，了解其对芳香疗法在医院等疗愈环境中运用的看法。采用Nvivo12对语音资料进行整理和编码分析，本文凝练了四个主题：香氛习惯、芳香疗法意识、态度以及在医院治疗环境中使用芳香疗法的建议。研究发现，91.6%的受访者支持在医疗环境中植入芳香疗法，受访者更偏好诸如花香和草本等清新香味，薄荷和柑橘味是其中最受欢迎的香味。

Abstract:

In recent years, aromatherapy has become a widely popular complementary therapy among patients in clinical settings. However, qualitative research exploring patients’ and staff’s needs and acceptance of aromatherapy in hospital environments remains limited. This study employed qualitative research methods, conducting in-depth semi-structured interviews with 16 medical staff, 5 patients, and 3 family members to understand their perspectives on aromatherapy use in hospitals and other healing environments. Using Nvivo12 for audio data organization and coding analysis, four major themes emerged: fragrance habits, aromatherapy awareness, attitudes, and recommendations for aromatherapy implementation in hospital treatment environments. The study found that 91.6% of interviewees supported incorporating aromatherapy in medical settings, with participants showing preference for fresh scents such as floral and herbal fragrances, with mint and citrus being the most popular aromas.
