五要素视域下的上海城市形象——以21世纪中国电影为例

摘要:

电影作为一门诞生于城市的艺术,与城市形象传播和都市文化传承密不可分。凯文·林奇最早明确提出城市形象这一概念,并将其拆分为五个构成要素,即道路、边沿、区域、结点和标志。21世纪以来(2000—2021年)的21年间共有140部中国电影以上海为主题或故事发生地进行拍摄。伴随思想文化的日益开放,上海电影的题材和影像生产日益多元,城市形象也日渐立体丰富,但各部分形象的呈现并不均衡,且存在对固有形象反复表达,创新力稍显不足的问题。

Abstract:

Film, as an art, which emerged in the city, is inseparable from the wide publicity of city image and the inheritance of city culture. Kevin Lynch first clearly put forward the concept of the image of the city and filled the concept with five elements, namely paths, edges, districts, nodes and landmarks. From 2000 to 2021, 140 Chinese films were shot in Shanghai as the theme or where the story took place. With the increasing openness of thought and culture, the theme and image of Shanghai’s films have become increasingly diverse, and the image of the city has become increasingly rich and multi-dimensional. However, some problems have emerged along the way, which calls for our attention, such as uneven image development in all parts, repeated expressions of stereotypes and lack of creativity.
