传统心性文化与现代艺术教育——以“经典导读”为中心的教学探索与实践

摘要:

在中国传统心性文化中,艺术是表达人对生活、生命体验的一种感觉方式,是心性之学,非形式之学;艺术家的心性修养,是艺术之第一要义。游艺修心辩证统一、体用不二。传统心性文化渗透的艺术教育智慧,将心性涵养、人格完善作为大学之道,对现代艺术教育不无启发。在传统心性文化烛照下,现代艺术教育当反思其功能、意义与价值。艺术教育应将通识与专业打通,二者兼顾,寻找平衡点和结合点,形成现代专业艺术教育和人文通识教育的良性互动、互补。以“经典导读”课程教学为中心,上海视觉艺术学院基础教育学院在人文教育与专业教育相结合的探索中,取得了一些有益经验。

Abstract:

In the traditional Chinese spiritual culture, art is a way of expressing people's feelings about life and life experience, the study of mind, non-formality, and an artist's spiritual cultivation is the first essential meaning of art, the dialectical unity of recreation and spiritual culture. The art education wisdom with the penetration of traditional spiritual culture regards the cultivation of mind and perfect personality as the doctrines of higher education, and it is of enlightening significance to the modern art education. With candlelight of traditional spiritual culture, modern art education should reflect on its function, significance and value. General education and professional education should be combined together in art education, taking into account of the both and finding out the balance and combination point, thus forming a benign interaction and complementarity between modern professional art education and humanities education. With teaching of " Guide to the Classics" as the center, the School of Foundation Courses of Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts has gained some useful experience in the exploration of the combination of humanities education and professional education.
