摘要: 艺者、匠人必须具有感知生命意义的激情,如果我们对本土的生活世界缺少这种激情,而一味看中人工化的器用标准,我们将失去这些传统技艺的本色,进而失去我们赖于生存的家园。这种失去的方式不是不存在了,而是心灵仪式的淡化,而是生命内涵的缺失,生命的意义已经降低了。没有能够思考的眼,就没有有品位的心,这种感受力就不能够存活。所以艺术院校的学生应该可以像工匠一样劳作,像哲学家一样思考,这是当代艺术教育的核心。

Abstract: Craftsmen should have the passion to feel the meaning of life. Without passion for the local culture, and only focusing on standards of artificialization, will make us lose the nature of these traditional handicrafts, even lose the home we are living in. The meaning of losing does not equal “disappear”, but it indicates that the lives do not have cores or meanings anymore. Without sharp eyes and tasteful minds, these feelings can not exist. So students from art schools should work like craftsmen and think like philosophers. This is the core of contemporary art education.
