目光的漫游:“触感视觉”理论及其影像美学实践——结合眼动追踪实验例证分析

The Wandering Gaze: The Theory of Haptic Visuality and Its Cinematic Aesthetic Practice: An Empirical Study Based on Eye-Tracking

摘要:

“触感视觉”理论是当代电影现象学思潮中涌现的一个隐喻式概念,其本体是某类影像诱发的一种特殊的感知模式,喻体是“手对皮肤逐寸地触摸”。为了验证“触感视觉”的理论假说,本研究采取了认知实验的方法,运用眼动追踪技术测试了被试观看“触感电影”时的视觉变化情况。根据实验结果,分别从注视的离散、目光的游移、视野的追随三个维度讨论了“触感电影”诱发的观众感知行为,并将“触感视觉”的影像感知特征归纳为“目光的漫游”。

Abstract:

“Haptic Visuality” theory, a metaphorical concept within contemporary film phenomenology, posits a unique perceptual mode. Its essence is likened to a hand meticulously touching skin. To test this theory, a cognitive experiment was conducted using eye-tracking technology to monitor participants’ visual responses while they watched a “tactile film”. Based on the results, this study examines the audience’s perceptual behaviors, including the discreteness of their gaze, the movement of their gaze, and the extent to which they follow the field of vision. The imaging perception characteristics of “tactile vision” are thus summarized as “the wandering gaze”.
