Abstract:

The variety of artistic techniques in ancient Chinese line drawing formed a complete system, which occupied an important position in the history of ancient Chinese art. Today, most of the line drawing techniques have been lost, obliterated in the long river of history, however, in the existing ancient murals, you can also see the remains of the "18 drawing" technique. Because these relics are relatively scattered and inaccessible, they can hardly be noticed. This paper aims to discuss the art forms of line drawing in ancient murals around China, so as to arouse people's understanding of its value and in-depth thinking on its research and protection.
