Abstract:

Chen Yifei is the most important representative of contemporary Shanghai-style art. As a spiritual sustenance in Shanghai-style art, Mr. Chen commands immense respect. Through the memoirs and narratives of some small things in the communication with him, the author briefly outlines that Chen Yifei has not only a discerning and pragmatic style, but also a heroic character. He attaches priorities to the whole pattern and pays due attention to details at once. His personal artistic development trajectory agrees with his personality and reflects the trend of the times. The author maintains that Chen Yifei is irreplaceable and the most inspiring representative of Shanghai-style art.
