Abstract: Oscar Wilde, the esthetician and artist of 19th century, once put forward the slogan of “art for art’s sake”, as art has a life, just like mind. The art in today could also help do some social reform. The education in art and design is able to promote the world’s development.The people who give and receive this education, will create the world we see, including films, buildings, paintings and sculptures. The insight and thoughts of our future artists are of vital importance to the change in the future world. It indicates that the education of art and design has a great potential. And to inspire the maximum of its potential, we need to teach the students practical and innovative skills. Apart from that, it is also important to promote the communication among art school and build a global art practical community. This is how we could create a better cultural life for the future.
