Abstract:

In today's fast-paced life, micro-dramas accommodate fragmented viewing patterns through their concise audio-visual format, offering emotional resonance through narrative content and subsequently emerging as popular "mental health care products." Audiences become emotionally engaged through immersion in the visual impact of virtual emotions. However, the visual impact of micro-dramas on emotional experiences is ruthlessly deployed to captivate viewers, while a mass-production assembly-line approach simultaneously facilitates emotional alienation. This contradiction highlights the complex relationship between emotional engagement and commodification in contemporary digital entertainment.
