Abstract:

As a medium language, materials have become the carrier of the artist’s inner world expression. In the process of being comprehensively applied by artists in artistic practice, the change of materials also reflects the emotional change of the artist’s inner world to a certain extent, which can be regarded as a unique design language in the artist’s self-construction and creation. French-American female artist Louise Bourgeois has a wide variety of works. Based on the change of materials in her sculptures, this article explores her psychologically externalized and changed design language.
