Abstract:

Using journal papers included in the CSSCI database from 1998 to 2020 as samples, this paper employs CiteSpace to conduct a visualization analysis of Chinese cultural industry research. The co-citation analysis indicates that the knowledge base of cultural industry research focuses on industrial development, primarily concentrated in basic concepts, competitive ability, spatial agglomeration, development effects, and influencing factors. The keyword detection analysis shows that the thematic evolution roughly experienced four stages: cultural economy, cultural industry development, influencing factors of cultural industry, and spatial carriers and policy platforms. Recent research areas include "integration," "DEA model," "spatial agglomeration," "ethnic culture," "Belt and Road Initiative," "supply-side reform," and "Internet+." The development trends of keyword clustering suggest that "high-quality development," "Internet," "digital creative industry," and "cultural tourism integration" are topics of significant interest to researchers, while "blockchain," "digital economy," and "rural revitalization" have become hot research areas since 2015.
