Abstract:

Over the past decade, in the context of building an international cultural metropolis and creating globally influential cultural brands, Shanghai has achieved notable accomplishments in fostering musical creativity, expanding the music market, advancing music theory construction, and cultivating musical talents. Throughout this process, Shanghai has maintained its distinctive characteristics in the music field while continuously exploring innovations in aesthetic connotations, integration of new technologies, and talent development. This has formed a unique path combining tradition, innovation and interactive integration in parallel development. Looking ahead, Shanghai's music sector can make distinctive explorations and contributions in areas such as building a music community with Shanghai identity, developing music theory systems and talent development models with Shanghai characteristics, and creating new music spaces embodying Shanghai's cultural warmth.
