Abstract: Unlike traditional literature, internet literature is an inevitable outcome of social development. Especially over the past 20 years, there have been a number of problems in the development of the internet literature industry, including the personnel of literature websites and the livelihood of internet writers. Furthermore, internet literature has taken up the majority of people’s reading time and created a huge amount of wealth, the operation of which is in increasingly urgent need of a variety of talents. Based on the first internet literature major founded with the joint efforts by Shanghai Institute of Visual Art and China Reading Limited and the norm of discipline building in colleges and universities, taking into consideration the market demand, this paper is an inquiry into the cultivating mode and methods for the talents of internet literature.
