Abstract: 20 years ago, back when I was writing the Vindication of Zhuangzi, I started creating this article, which lays the foundation of the discourse system of Chongde Culture, incorporating a number of academic monographs and theses including Shanzeng’s Interpretation of The Analects of Confucius, Chongde Culture Series, the revelation by Shen Xiongfeng that the pursuit of integration and hugeness leads to the world financial crisis, and the thesis “Convergence: collapse and healthy value” considered as the mathematical logic definition for universal value. As the application of the discourse system of Chongde Culture, the economy of making a living is of particular importance, given China’s economic reform and transition and global economic crisis. In terms of standpoint, methodology and viewpoint, this paper is an attempt to underscore the practical and historical significance of the appeal of “theoretical innovation” and “discourse innovation” by president Xi Jinping.
