Reflection on Practice-Driven Environmental Design Teaching from the Beijing Winter Olympics

Abstract:

Through the design of practical projects for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, this article aims to integrate environmental design teaching methods, enhance students' understanding of the entire process of environmental design, and strengthen the core issues of "design process" and "teaching methods". This article conducts a study on the improvement of environmental design profession through the implementation of Olympic project practice cases. It analyzes and summarizes students' abilities to lead roles, manage projects, analyze and solve problems through projects, explores suitable environmental design talent training models for the needs of the times, and cultivates students' efficient and rapid professional qualities as well as positive and healthy professional qualities.
