Abstract:

At present, the academic research on environmental dance is more focused on the field of dance performance and creation, and pays less attention to the ontological implication of "environmental dance", thus ignoring the ecological aesthetic education value of environmental dance. If environmental dance is placed under the background of social reality and examined from the theoretical perspective of ecological aesthetics, it can be found that environmental dance, as a special dance art form, always takes the symbiotic relationship between people and the environment as the premise, and emphasizes the aesthetic characteristics of the aesthetic participation, the presence of the sensory perception, and the construction of public aesthetic value. Based on this, this paper puts forward that environmental dance has the aesthetic education value of reshaping the individual ecological consciousness, returning to the holistic teaching concept and realizing the transformation of experience in embodied practice. Under the standpoint of ecological aesthetic education, environmental dance highlights the ontological value and tool value of dance education, so as to truly realize the aesthetic education mission of "educating people with dance" of dance art endowed by the times under the background of ecological civilization construction.
