Abstract:

Socialist literature and art is the people’s literature and art. More specifically, it is from the people, for the people, and of the people. Red songs serve as a typical representative and a vivid expression of the people’s literature and art, embodying an organic unity of ideology and artistry, and providing powerful spiritual strength for the Chinese revolution, construction, and reform. Many classic red songs have emerged in various historical periods, eulogizing, spreading, and nurturing the great spirit of the Communist Party of China, inspiring the Chinese people to march forward determinedly and achieve continuous victories. The great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation necessitates the flourishing of Chinese culture, the enrichment of the spiritual world of the people, and the continuous enhancement of national strength, which requires the valuable guidance of advanced culture, including red songs. The new era demands that creators of red songs keep people-centered creativity as orientation, with the spirit of the Communist Party of China reflected in different historical periods as the soul, and create outstanding works worthy of the times.
