Abstract:

The narrative space design takes the story as the theme, and integrates objects, light, odour, audio and video into a whole in a particular experience, and the narrative structure of “Hero’s Journey” provides a framework for the development of the story and plot conflicts. The combination of the two undoubtedly endows the monotonous functional narrative space with cultural heritage and spiritual connotations, thus enhancing the audience’s participation and sense of experience.
