Abstract:

Using of new technologies changes the pattern of art creation a lot. For example, the digital technologies are used during the creation of sculptures. From sculptures design draft to manufacturing process, computer effect diagram takes the place of hand-painted sketch and 3D-printed replaces traditional hand-made work. Great advances have been made by application of digital technologies in the process of creation. This article mainly introduces the application of graphic design and 3D-engraving software during the sculpture creation and how to use these digital technologies.
